Assistant Chief Pilot

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team flight instructors and charter pilots to ensure safety, efficiency and utility of flight operations
  • Part 135 on-demand charter pilot
  • Company check instructor for flight school
  • Train new CFI applicants and upgrade existing instructor base
  • Develop and implement marking strategies to increase flight department enrolment and charter activity.
  • Responsible for updating and managing company operation specifications
  • Assist Director of Operations and Chief Pilot in updating company manuals
  • Managing and updating new flight training syllabus
  • Manage all aspects of flight charter operations.

Qualifications:

  • Some management experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate employees in a fast paced work environment.
  • Commercial Pilot ASEL & AMEL
  • Certified Flight Instructor with at least two-years of experience. (CFII, MEI a plus)
  • Valid Second Class Medical Certificate
  • Four year degree (desired)
  • 1200 hours total time
  • 300 hours multi-engine
  • Part 135 experience a plus

Flight Instructor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing extensive one-on-one flight and ground instruction
  • Involvement in related administrative functions
  • Participation in promotional activities
  • Once qualified our instructors are given priority status for positions in our Charter Department.

Qualifications:

  • You need to be a self starter with a positive, upbeat personality that can naturally motivate students
  • Appreciation of the importance of customer service and intrapersonal skills are fundamental
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate
  • Current CFI-Airplane pilot certificate
  • Second Class Medical Certificate
  • No past criminal or DUI convictions
  • Applicant must considerably exceed the PTS standards for knowledge and skill.

Strong teaching ability required. Solid work ethic is a must!
